ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for managing a team of Ad Operations Specialists, ultimately responsible for the quality assurance, trafficking, launch, reporting, and full delivery of our clients’ digital media campaigns. The Ad Operations Manager must strive for high quality, phenomenal speed, and outstanding customer service, working to maintain a cohesive and high functioning ad delivery operation in a high-pressure political environment.

Talbot Digital is a progressive digital media agency, delivering smart and efficient digital advertising campaigns for Democratic political campaigns, issue advocacy organizations, and non-profits. We work with campaigns in federal and state elections, as well as international races. Our clients include US Senators; Governors; Congressional Representatives; Mayors; statewide ballot initiatives; and candidates for President in the US and abroad.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the internal workflow of ad campaigns immediately following budget and media plan approval: from quality assurance and launch, reporting, all the way through full completion of the campaign.
  • Monitor and ensure pacing and delivery on all live ad campaigns through completion; make changes to line-item budgets as necessary and flag delivery issues for project strategists. Ensure campaigns remain on-pace, within budget, and deliver in-full by deadline.
  • Resolve and address campaign issues, client questions or requests, and publisher conflicts.
  • Ensure delivery of regular and comprehensive reporting on all digital media campaigns.
  • Suggest campaign framework and setup to clients and partners; develop and see through solutions based on client success metrics, KPIs, or desired campaign results.
  • Take an active role in client meetings reviewing delivery reports and next steps; present process and systems, explain workflow to clients and partners.
  • Develop and enforce policies to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and industry-leading customer service.
  • Monitor and analyze the ongoing value and opportunity of various digital advertising formats, platforms, and data providers to ensure the best campaign performance for our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years in an ad operations role at a digital agency, advertiser, or ad technology company
  • Experience managing multiple ongoing digital ad campaigns through a large DSP
  • DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleClick Bid Manager, Sizmek, TubeMogul/Adobe DSP experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to fully deliver digital ad campaigns on a deadline
  • Facebook Advertising, Twitter Ads, and Google AdWords experience preferred
  • Experience in a client facing capacity preferred
  • Experience working in Democratic campaigns and politics preferred
